The philosophy of supporting workers through a balance of self-care and client needs is a cornerstone of effective supervision. It's a practice that not only fosters sustainability but also nurtures the emotional resilience necessary for reflective practice. This approach is underpinned by the belief that clear, transparent communication forms the bedrock of any supervisory relationship. By cultivating a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment, supervisors can facilitate a space where open, reflective work thrives. Drawing from a diverse pool of theories and methods, including counselling, psychotherapy, and debriefing, supervision becomes a dynamic process that enhances service quality and promotes the well-being and morale of workers and volunteers. This holistic approach ensures that supervision is not just a regulatory mechanism but a transformative experience that contributes to personal growth and professional excellence.
Individual Supervision is charged at $80 for a 60-minute session and can be booked at a time that suits you by using the book now button or calling us on 0458 446 949
Our focus on connection and support helps to address the isolation and loneliness that counsellors may experience, particularly those working independently or in less populated areas. In particular group supervision sessions offer a community of peers where counsellors can share experiences, challenges, and successes, fostering a sense of mutual support and collective self-care.
